“Salute to Veterans” Scheduled for November 4, 2015
The Janet Goeske Foundation will host its annual Veteran’s Day Program, to honor 21.8 million Veterans and over 1.3 million Active Duty Military Personnel, on Wednesday, November 4th at 10:00 AM at the Janet Goeske Center – 5257 Sierra Street, Riverside, CA 92504.
Researcher, writer, and documentary filmmaker Terry duSoleil will discuss her WWII documentary “Failed to Return, 1943”. Her presentation will focuses on the efforts to bring home over 73,000 American service personnel who are still missing from WWII. Afterwards “The Latin Crooner”, Jake Gutierrez, will perform a medley of patriotic songs for attendees, while they enjoy a light continental breakfast. As always, the event will include the traditional favorites – 21 Gun Salute, TAPS, and presentation of the Folding of the Flag including the recital of the 13 folds.
